WHO WE ARE
Grit City Hockey began as a shared love for the game of hockey and a passion for developing the skills of young hockey players in the Tacoma area. Both Dawson Butt and Shaun White, founders of Grit City Hockey, played youth hockey in Tacoma.
MISSION
With a collaboration of skilled coaches, Grit City Hockey has encompassed all aspects of the game of hockey within their camps, clinics, and lessons. You’ll find a distinct emphasis on skating as it is the foundation of skilled hockey players.
RINK
Grit City Hockey is based in Tacoma, Washington and began in the grit city - however, their mission is to develop players throughout western Washington and can teach wherever ice is available.
