DAWSON BUTT
Former professional hockey player with the Everett Silvertips (WHL) and the Allen Americans (ECHL).
Dawson’s passion for the game of hockey was first sparked in Tacoma, WA where he first learned to ice skate and play hockey. He further developed his skill playing travel hockey in the Seattle area. At age 14, Dawson was drafted (118th overall) by the Everett Silvertips in the sixth round of the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft. During his time with the Silvertips, they were division champions for 2 consecutive years (2016-2017 and 2017-2018) as well as conference champions in the 2017-2018 season. After his time in Everett, he then played a year of minor pro hockey in the ECHL with the Allen Americans. He has now transitioned to coaching youth hockey and developing hockey players within Washington. He is also a part time skills coach for the Everett Silvertips.
